Sunday Adult Education classes are held every Sunday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 on the Prince of Peace campus (check monitors for locations). Make sure the class hour is part of your Sunday morning plans.

The Life After the Life After Death
September 12 through October 17 - Room 17
Many Christians believe that our future in heaven is all that really matters. But that's not what the Bible teaches. Join us with our conversation partner, Bible scholar N. T. Wright, as he takes us inside the Scriptures to grasp the full, breathtaking hope Jesus offers the world, and its implications for how we live our lives today as believers. The Me I Want to Be

"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation" (2 Corinthians 5:17). What does that mean for our mind, our time, our relationships, and our experiences? Join John Ortberg in the video series, "The Me I Want To Be: Becoming God's Best Version of You." (The suggested participant's guide is available for $10. Sign up by September 12 to receive it.)

Parents! Battling Boredom and Stress in the Home? Children pushing your buttons?
October 24 through November 21 - Room 9
Join us for a workshop that will empower you with tools that will enable you to combat stress and boredom in the home. This class is highly interactive. You will leave with practical ideas. Workshop is designed for those who have children under age 8.

New Member Class
October 2 and 9, 2010 - 8:00am to Noon
Are your friends or neighbors looking for a church home? Our next new member class provides a no-obligation overview of everything we believe and do together. Continental breakfast will be served. Class leaders are Pastor Scott Christenson, Senior Pastor, and Pastor John Glover, Teaching Pastor. There is no obligation to join, but attendance at both classes is required for membership. Please register by contacting the church office.

Exploring Your Spiritual Gifts
October 16, 2010 — 8:30am to 11:30am - Room 17
One of Prince of Peace's core values is we believe the church is most effective when all members serve using their spiritual gifts. But what are spiritual gifts? What are your gifts? What's your spiritual starting point — are you a Thomas, a Mary, a Martha or a Moses? This class will help you find a balance in spiritual life and help you learn how to use your gifts. Cost is $10 (scholarships are available) for the book and participants will need to complete a short assignment prior to the day of class. Please register and pay for the class at the Welcome Center or at the church office during office hours by October 3.

Divorce and Remarriage in the Church
October 24 through November 28 - Room 17
Divorce and remarriage are major issues facing God's people. Yet when we turn to Scripture for guidance, what does the New Testament say? You might surprised by the answers based on newly discovered first-century divorce certificates. Hear how Jesus' first hearers heard him and hear what God's Word says today.
